All of us in life have rules to follow to maintain order, and that includes the Gutbuster Brigade.
Here are the rules:
Inactivity
1) 3 days of inactivity are allowed (unless your max stamina allows more).
2) Logging on in time to avoid a kick without gaining experience is also considered as inactive. If we are suspicious about a member we always check the advisor and compare gained experience each day then.
3) If you can’t play for a period, you need to inform a council member or above on when you will be back. This info also has to be put up in your bio.
4) If any of the above rules aren’t applied, it will result in a kick when we need room in the guild.
Guild Bank and FSP
1) Donations in gold and FSP aren’t required, but they are really appreciated.
2) Guild tax is currently maxed at 15%. Only the Dwarf at School rank has to pay 25% tax.
3) If we ever should run low on gold, it could happen that an illuminati dwarven or founder makes a mass message to collect gold. But we try to avoid this at all costs since we want to keep our bank at least at 90 million gold.
4) The guild founder is the only person who has the ability to withdraw guild gold. He’ll sometimes do this and will always clearly make a mass message what the reason for the withdrawal was (forging guild equipment, etc.).
5) All the gold that we have in the guild bank is meant to hire mercenaries and for the upkeep of the guild structures. Without, those structures will deteriorate. No money from the bank will ever be given to any of the guild members.
6) The guild founder also has in his bio a message stating: Holding xx fsp for the guild. These are used to either fully forge guildlocked items or to buy new sets and items that are needed.
7) If a member wants to donate FSP, it is best just to send them to the guild founder. He’ll make a mass message of how many FSP he received and will update the message holding xx fsp for the guild. (It is preferred this way since as a guild we have more options then to use the FSP for the guild, although it’s allowed to just put them into the FSP bank from the guild too, but keep in mind these cannot be withdrawn so we can only use them to buy more guild store slots.)
Guild Store
1) There should always be an open slot in the guild store. You don’t want to lose your drop and the members who joined your group don’t want to see their stamina go to waste for that reason either. So don’t fill up the last spot. If you need help to put items back somewhere ask someone for help with it, or send to an Dwarven Monument/Vacation player. We prefer to keep the whole last page empty so that players can recall an entire set of items from whoever is holding the gear.
2) Always check if the guild store has got an open slot, just in case someone didn’t follow the first guild store rule.
3) Recalling is allowed:
* when the item is unequipped
* when the player wearing it is offline (wearing guild items while offline isn't allowed)
* when there is no other item available and the person isn't hunting (try to ask first)
4) If you recall an item, send the item back to the person you recalled it from. It’ll make everything easier for everyone and keeps the guild store always with open slots.
5) ALL guild items are required to be unequipped when you log off. This is so that other members can use them too. Everyone should have offline equipment. If you can’t store the items back in the guild store just unequip them and put them in your backpack. If you don’t have the room to do so, ask another member to help you store the items, or send them to a Dwarven Monument/Vacation player.
6) There are certain high demand items that need to be shared around so that everyone can level effectively. These "hunting items" must be repaired and returned to the guild store before going offline. The list may change from time to time. It currently consists of: Click here
7) If you use a guild item, repair the items after usage (you should be doing this while you're hunting as well, since less durability makes the stats drop of the item).
8) We supply almost all necessary items for leveling, however this also reaches a limit, so don’t expect to constantly find every item for each level that you might need (at around lvl 200+ you really should start keeping some common and rare drops you find after hunting).
9) Must read info about the spine sets: Click here
10) For more info on returning items: Click here
Ranks
1) The ranking is based upon the xp you contributed to the guild. On the forum you can find out how many xp is needed for each rank. If you have enough xp for the next rank but any of us missed it just send a message to someone who can change ranks.
More info about the ranks : Click here
2) Gutbuster rank: this is a rank created for each member in the guild. For more info on the rank Click here
Groups
Creating Groups
1) Groups are for hunting Elite and Super Elite monsters only! Don't create groups to hunt regular monsters. Always check what the monster drops - most Champions and some Elites aren't worth killing in group. ALL Elites under level 500 (and some above 500) can be soloed! If you need help adjusting your own stats/gear, please ask rather than forming a group.
2) Don't create groups if you're going to let them rot in Groups screen. If you create a group, "use" it quickly. Remember that groups expire 24 hours after creation.
3) Before you attack, check the monster's stats! Attacking something that's way out of your league just wastes everyone's stamina. Remember that only 20% of group member stats are added to your own. If something isn’t clear ask for help over this. If you use the FSHelper plug-in, it has a "Can my group kill this?" combat analyzer.
4) If you need stronger people in your group, set the minimum level (Character > Preferences > Min Group Join Level). Keep in mind that even the players who are at certain level may have weak equipment due to the use of stamina/xp gain equipment!
5) Don't ever disband groups, even if people who joined aren't suited for whatever you're hunting now! It's better to attack something, even a regular monster (BUT DON'T), than disband a group. The next time you're going to create a group, think it over first.
6) Members of low ranks should not form attack groups without mentioning a specific target in the chat, as it may cause confusion and waste others' stamina for no gain.
7) If you haven't been playing and getting XP, don't form a group, instead go and train and get some XP.
Joining Groups
1) If you can help, join groups created by guild members - it only costs 5 stamina. If you join groups rarely or never, you're going to have problems getting people to join your group.
2) Remember that you can't die or lose xp/gold if you join a group - the 5 stamina cost is the only "drawback".
Guild buffs
1) Ensure to put your buffs in your bio, else don't expect anyone to buff you.
2) Always buff yourself with what you have before asking guildmates for buffs.
3) Ask specifically for what you need, not just "buff me".
4) If you ask for free buffs, please be sure you really need them. For example, if your attack is higher than the monster's defense, you do not need Dark Curse or Keen Edge.
5) Try asking buffs through PMs; it will avoid people over buffing you. Also, ask only one member at a time. Check the bio of the players to be sure they are recently active. If they do not reply, you can ask another member. If you receive the buff then, notify the other members you PMed also. (For example, "Nevermind on the KE buff; player "x" got me. Thanks.")
6) Buffs are given at the discretion of the buffer. Please remember buffs cost stamina, so when you ask another player for buffs, you are using their stamina. Also, always check player bio's to see any special conditions they have, such as limit on number of free buffs/stamina per day. Some of the higher level players charge a small fee for guild buffs to compensate for the stamina loss, since stamina becomes more valuable both to the player and to the guild the higher level the player is.
7) If you don't give free buffs, don't expect to get free buffs! This is another reason higher level players charge a small fee (stamina cost or lower) for buffs, is because they do not use free guild buffs.
8) Members are encourage to buy potions, as some can be bought extremely cheap in the AH.
Behaviour
Harassment
Reported harassment of other members or players will not be taken easily. Any such reports will be reported to HCS for investigation. If you are caught in such a shameful act you will suffer the wrath of the guild, the Fallen Sword community and HCS all together. It is petty and deserves no excuse.
Begging
This guild is a beg free guild. This means that there will be no begging among guild members. Violations on this rule will result in a warning, a fine or a ban from the guild.
For the good order, friendly asking for a buff is not considered begging. Asking for gold, FSP or free equipment in chat or PM is!! If you are not sure if something is considered begging, ask one of the Founders or council members before you ask it in chat.
PvP
PvP within the guild
1) Members of this guild need to be able to feel safe within this guild. Therefore attacking a fellow guild member for PvP score, gold or experience loss is not done.
The player that is attacked is allowed to report the offense to one of the online council members, including a link where the council can see the results of the fight in a screen shot. The player that initiated the fight is then fined according to the following formula:
10000 gold multiplied by his/her character level (for example lvl 10 = 100,000 gold) towards the guild payable within 3 days.
2) Also the player is fined how ever much gold was lost (not stolen) by the player that got attacked multiplied by 2 IMMEDIATELY (for example player lost 500 gold then the attacking player will pay that player 1,000 gold immediately) + each xp loss point is paid back so the player can re-buy his stamina needed to gain the amount of xp again (this will be based on the players lvl you attacked, after which we’ll determine how much xp is gained with 1 stamina kills and then we put the price on it so the player can re-buy his stamina.
If player A = lvl 100 lost 1,000xp => Treestag Slime Bug xp 199-258. It means that you’ll need to pay the player back 5 stamina, currently fsp prices are rated 100 000 gold so it means you need to pay the player an additional 20,000 gold.
3) A second attack on a guild member or not complying to the rules stated above WILL result in removal from the guild.
PvP outside the guild
1) Gold lost in PvP is on your own account. The guild will not back you up in this. When you start PvP make sure you do not have too much gold on you.
2) If you PvP someone, expect to be bountied. If you're not bountied, then sigh in relief. Since we cannot take bounties on our own members, you're on your own. Make sure your gold is safe and pray. The safest way to get your PvP rating up is to attack an inactive player, however it is always possible the player could log in within the 2-day bounty window and bounty you!
3) If you take a bounty on someone, make sure they know it's for business reasons only.
4) Personal vendettas and retribution will not be backed by the rest of the guild especially if you started it. If things get out of hand, it will be demanded to tone it down.
5) If you are attacked, for no reason, by another player, message that player and ask why or bounty them. Do not use the Guild for threats against other players.
Violation of Guild Rules
Violation of any of the Guild Rules may result in a fine or an instant kick with a possibility to be added to the Wall of Shame. Those who have the rank to kick members will decide what to do in the case of a violation. This will depend on the type of crime. If you are offered to pay a fine and refuse to do so, you are likely to get kicked.
Dwarven at school rank
1) Used to fine people for not following the rules.
2) The person who puts you in the dwarven at school rank, will send you a message with the reason (but you probably will know the reason).
3) In the message you are also informed for how long you’ll be in there (will depend on the severity of your actions). If it isn’t stated you’ll be in the rank for 3 days.
4) Avoiding to level up when in this rank, will prolong the time in the rank and thus will consider inactive. And after being warned for it still failing to level up will result in a kick.
